Job Overview
In this job, you will be driving trucks to move farm products, mainly potatoes, to different places. Based in Summerside, PE, you’ll work closely with the farm team to make sure products are delivered on time while following strict safety rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive (Safely transport) farm products to assigned places.
- Keep accurate records (Maintain accurate logs) of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle upkeep.
- Check vehicles (Inspect vehicles) before and after trips to make sure they are safe for the road.
- Load and unload goods (Load and unload products), sometimes lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate clearly (Communicate effectively) with the dispatch team and management about delivery plans.
Requirements:
- Class 3A License: This is necessary since you’ll be driving stick shift trucks.
- Driving Experience: At least 2 years of experience driving big vehicles.
- Clean Driving Record: Safety is very important.
